As the only child of a judge, Kelli Ellis learned at a young age the importance of diplomacy and balance — in life as well as in designing a room! She earned her bachelor's degree in communications and marketing and following in her father's footsteps, Kelli applied to law school. After long nights in the law library Kelli decided to leave the courtroom behind and pursue her true passion. Although already designing homes, Kelli enrolled at the Interior Design Institute and made it official.  Look closely at her designs and you will also see Kelli’s love of the Earth and Geology reflected in every room.  From the beaches of California to the mountains of Montana, Kelli's clients have kept her very busy on a repeat and referral basis for the past nine years. While expanding Kelli Ellis Interiors, Inc., she has been occupied with her greatest accomplishments, her two beautiful daughters, who reside with her in Southern California.

While filming the Clean Sweep series, Kelli has been able to offer design advice to millions through many publications and newspapers. Kelli is featured in a “How to” book that Clean Sweep designed to assist people with their organizational and design problems. Kelli also offered her creative wisdom to television viewers as a featured guest on The Jane Pauley Show (NBC). 

Kelli recently completed filming two seasons of HGTV’s Takeover My Makeover and is presently filming a new show for the network which is scheduled to air in 2009.

In addition to television appearances, Kelli has offered her design expertise to radio audiences nationwide on SIRIUS satellite radio and other internet radio stations. Kelli is the design guru behind ONLINEDESIGNTV.COM which features beautiful makeovers and the latest trends in design and creator of the Be Your Own Designer™ with The Kelli Kit, a genius space planning and color selection tool for consumers and is working on publishing the Be Your Own Designer Book.
